wow – patch 3.3 errors on load

as usual, with a new patch comes a host of new problems. here is the error i encountered upon loading wow after downloading and installing the new patch.

on of the solutions posted here i tried did not work, i will post it here anyways, in the case that it may work for someone else.

so i did some more searching, and found on the wine forums (this was also listed on the site i mentioned previously, but i wanted to look further into this solution) a possible solution. apparently i had to download microsoft visual c++ sp1

so i installed the microsoft package, here is the output from wine -
